Jennifer is the delightful ray of sunshine that owns Business Actualized here in Kansas City.  Like every great business, she was looking to add some terrific images to her website.  She wanted something like a headshot, but less formal…more natural.  So, we had ourselves a fabulous session.

Lawrence | Wedding | Bridget + GP

I <3 Bridget & GP!!!!  And I <3 everything about this wedding day!

But of course, that’s no surprise…I first met Bridget when I was on a photo adventure in Mexico shooting Libby & Logan’s Wedding, and Bridget was one of the lovely Bridesmaids.  And then I got to know her a little more when she introduced me to her favorite guy…Oscar!  No, wait…I mean, GP! HAHAHA, ok…it might be a close tie, but since Oscar is a dog and GP is her husband..GP wins “Favorite” title.  🙂  If you’ve ever been to my studio and viewed some of the sample wall art, you might recognize one of these pictures from their engagement session.

Oh and this is one of the coolest Groom’s gift ever!  USB Flashdrive cufflinks!!!

Oh and you might recognize Adrienne, too, from Libby’s Mexico wedding.  It was pretty awesome….like a mini reunion!

And I spy, with my eye, a past Mexico Bride!  Kinda rhymes, haha.  It’s LIBBY!  And Logan’s peeking. 

So happy to see our engagement session sprinkled around the tables!  LOVE IT!  And love the LAMAS!!!!

Bridget changed during the reception into a traditional Thailand ceremonial dress…sash handmade by Bridget’s mother.  SO PRETTY!!!!

Had to include this last shot…our Finale!  You know…I’ve heard the phrase that you can judge how fun a wedding day was based on the condition of the Bride’s dress….so if that stands true, and in this case it does, this Wedding Day was beyond amazing… as Bridget literally caught on fire during this last photo take and burned a hole right on through her dress. And no, sorry, I didn’t get a picture of it, HAHA!  I think I fell in love with Bridget even more with her laughing it off and enjoying the moment.   

Congratulations to Bridget & GP!  AND Oscar!!!  KC misses you.

Kansas City | Engagement | Brittaniee + Levi

Morning session in style with Brittaniee & Levi…a FABULOUSLY fashionable and affectionate couple!  I’m in LOVE with these images!  They were so much fun to photograph.

Oh Wrigley…how we love you so!  I’m obsessed with this big doggie.

You know…Wrigley, and most dogs, could care less at looking and smiling at the camera when I’m barking, hissing, and jumping around to get attention…but of course, the moment Wrigley was set aside …he wants to photobomb. HAHAHA

Oh my gosh..seriously!  How cute are they?!?!!!!!!!!  I CANNOT wait till their wedding!  So so sweet!

Arrowhead Stadium | Wedding | Andi + Michael

What’s a couple to do when they live in one state, and just about all their friends and family are scattered about all the country?  You pick a spot in the middle and have your wedding there!  In this particular case, Andi told me Michael is a HUGE Chiefs fan…so would be better than getting married at Arrowhead Stadium???  Nothing, that’s what!  And so it was settled!  🙂

I might also add that aside from couple phone conversations and emails, I hadn’t met this lovely couple in person until a couple days before their wedding when we did a short mini-session…but I knew enough from our communications to know that they were going to be awesome….and I was SOOOOO right!  And as an added bonus, Andi is a classic beauty.  Her dress and overall look was so perfectly timeless!

Isn’t this so symbolic…GAME DAY!  Getting ready with the Spirit of a great football team at your back.

Fabulous florals by the amazing Ashley Hotka of Good Earth Floral!  Andi said that she told Ashley the color was red (preferably no yellow, haha) and trusted her to design something good…and she delivered GREATNESS!

And then off to go have some photo-fun Arrowhead Style!

AND THE CROWD GOES WILD!!!!  I CAN JUST HEAR THE APPLAUSE in this shot!  🙂

A visit into the Chiefs locker room…stopped by locker #25 for good luck…since it was May 25th…WEDDING DATE!

And Hello Arrowhead Wedding Details!  Awesome view!

For a personal touch, Andi & Michael snagged The Dueling Piano Guys for the reception!  It all goes back to their first date, when they enjoyed dueling piano entertainment.  ….and I can see why!  It’s so much fun…and these guys are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!


As a tribute to their first date…a special portrait was in order.  🙂

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Selby!!!  Many wishes to you both!
