Latest and greatest news…my package arrived today with my brand, spankin‘, new lens. Wahoooooo! As much as I miss my old one, this is definitely a fancy lens in deed. Image quality is outstanding, and it’s quick as lightning….unfortunately every great thing usually comes with a price…this was not only a chunk of change, but it’s probably twice the weight of my old lens. Anyone know a good chiropractor?

This is what my daughter does throughout the day, each day… we have a never-ending population of this cute yellow-flowered weed…and she loves to pick me little bouquets. I guess I should be happy we don’t have more Dandelions.
Niki is definitely a loving character…this is one of her many love notes to me. I’m going to hang on to this picture to show off to her when she’s 15 and hates me. 
Let’s hope that won’t be the case.
