WARNING! HOT WEDDING ALERT!
No….seriously…it was Hot! Both visually and literally. 🙂
Have I ever mentioned my LOVE of Converse All Stars? Let me explain…you know how some girls go shopping and find some badass heels that are so AWESOME that they suffer the blisters and blood to wear? Well…that’s me and converse (mostly since I can’t walk in heels without looking drunk). I have unnaturally WIDE duck feet…and converse All Stars are designed for narrow-to-normal shaped feet. 🙁 Such is life. When I buy converse, I truly suffer the pain to break them in and stretch them out to MAKE THEM FIT! Think of the scene from Cinderella where the evil stepsisters are trying to force the shoe to fit…..that’s me. That’s how much I love them. They are a simple, bold, badass statement on feet…and I LOVE THEM! When I arrived and saw that this was the shoes of all the Groomsmen, …oh YESSSSSSS! Gotta get me some of that Converse lovin’ in these pictures. 🙂
In other awesomeness…I had ample time and access to the Groom’s suit….and it was SUPA STYLIN’ in Grey and Orange…so Why not give it its dues. Give it as much photo-lovin’ as the beautiful Gown.
And then upon taking this image, in the love of cinema, I couldn’t help but think of Beetle Juice. 🙂
Since I’m shoe sharing…thought my wide-duck-feet should be included. Jennie & Craig demanded invited me to wear my converse. * HUGE SMILE *
Oh what treasures you find on other peoples’ fridges. 🙂 I first noticed the “Follow your Dreams” part….then saw the “Why Not”….and then the red text was last. So funny! Why not?
Some last minute sewing of the custom-made garter belt.
Lazy dogs.
Two weeks ago these dogs would barely let my camera near them….but with all the people in the house and commotion, they could care less. HAHAHAHA
Such a beautiful setting for an outdoor wedding. Too bad it was so hot you could fry an egg on the sidewalk. But still beautiful nontheless.
BEST programs EVER!!!! Craig & Jennie really did some amazing things to personalize their wedding. So cute!
Time out….you’ve seen some very pretty pictures of their ceremony. Now take a look at the conditions those were taken. And Actually, had I photographed my car’s console 5 minutes previous, when we first jumped in to leave Berkley Riverfront Park…it said 115 degrees. WHOA MAMA! I think that sets the record of of HOTTEST wedding I’ve ever photographed in my career.
Then we headed over to The Foundation…and got to play around in their upper level. Red Bath Tub…yes please!
This was not planned, but absolutely perfect….as Craig & Jennie are already married and have been for about a year. They got married just before Craig was shipped over seas…so this “one year later” couldn’t be more awesome!
What do you think? Did I get on their bad side? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I have to give a shout-out to Frankie at HyVee. This Groom’s cake was amazing! I’ve watched quite a bit of Cake Boss and this was the first time where I experience that level of cake-daw-dropping presentation that you get when you watch that show. Craig is a firefighter and this cake really showed off our appreciation. Kuddos Frankie!!!!
As special of a day this way, it can not go without saying that it was shared by Jennie’s parents. This was also their wedding anniversary…and they were given a special anniversary cake and speech to signify vows.
Again with Jennie’s personalization. The Foundation always seems to have the most amazing new and ever-changing ceiling art, but this time Jennie personalized it with some beautiful and sparkly hand-made chandeliers.
And the “Best Dance Move of The Night” goes to Craig and his Best Man! OH YESSSSSSSSSS!
BAHAHAHAHAHAHA
We <3 The Richey’s! No other couple, wedding party, and family could rock out 111 degree photo-awesomeness like you did. It was quite the celebration! You guys are fabulous!
Oh, and I didn’t take a pictures of it (wish I had), but thank you to Carly & Adam (my lovely Bride & Groom from 2010…and gracious neighbors of Craig & Jennie) for letting us hog their driveway. 🙂
