Chris & Caley’s engagement session has been bumped around a bit…we had finally settled on last Thursday at 6:30p. But at around 4p on Thursday, I was watching the weather on TV and the meteorologist said 104 degree and that was it. TOOOO HOT. Lucky for me, Chris and Caley are morning folk…it was rough, but Matt and I rolled out of bed, pumped ourselves full of coffee, and met up with them early on Father’s Day. Perfect time too…the light was awesome, the air quality was comfortable, and the city was bare. I’ve said it before, and I’ll keep saying it …I wish I were a morning person and did all my shooting during the early morning after sunrise.
Chris & Caley are getting married on the famous 10-10-10. WAHOOOO!!!! Had to get the “Spirit Fingers” out and in action!
So Caley asks, “Where are we going?” and I reply “Ummm…well, I’ve been there before, but I don’t know where it is.” Such tends to be a normal reply when speaking of a new spot. A couple months ago, I was lost (also normal) and saw this big bare blue wall downtown. Of course I looked at the street signs and told myself “Don’t forget the street names”…and of course, I did. I’m just glad we found it again. A friend of mine stopped by when I was working on these images and said…”That’s a cool shot. Where was that lake?” …on second look, I realize that when the image isn’t blown up big on the screen, it looks like they are standing in front of some pretty blue water. Neat!
Matt always knows how to capture my good side in action. (Thanks honey…)
Yup…Chris was super awake. His body needed lots of oxygen (inside joke).
I stared at this picture for a while trying to remember what was going on here…but all I can think about is “pull my finger”. (What were you doing Caley? Remind me)
Oh-so-pretty Caley! I love her eyes! They sort of match the tile.
Hey good lookin’! I liked this picture because he resembles Chris O’Donnell here…and I’ve had a secret crush on him since I saw the movie “The Bachelor”.
Caley told me a while back that she had this idea to use their bodies to make 10-10-10…awesome idea…hard to pull off. I think we killed at least 15 minutes attempting to make a Zero with our bodies standing up before we resorted to laying in the grass. hahahahahahaha It was funny trying though. E for Effort!
